Record companies do have a canny habit of trying to release songs with a seasonal theme. Christmas is an obvious example, and one very easy to plan for. And then, you get summer, the most unpredictable season in the British calendar. While everyone wants to have a sunny anthem, the rain tends to force people into the direction of Massive Attack and Cat Power, where the yearning for sunnier climbs are not so apparrent. And so to the Young Knives, the band currently capturing Indie Fans UK Wide with their post-post-punk styles.
